I leave August 23rd for six weeks in China in the earthquake area. Eclipsed by the Olympics and other world events, it is no longer on people’s minds yet the crisis is far from over. Rebuilding is slow -- even basic supplies are still needed and winter is coming. Please, if you are able to contribute any amount, it will assist in our efforts to ensure clean water and warmth in the months to come.
I will be working with two organizations in China to determine how best to use the funding for remote villages that are hardest hit. Additionally, I will work with planning sustainable design for some of the larger villages. Our involvement and impact can make a world of difference.
